We reach the last Sunday of Lent before entering Holy Week. We continue our preparations for what is the most important time in the Christian Year
We continue our preparations for Holy Week and Easter, reflecting on the meaning of the events themselves, the human condition that makes them necessary, and practical life as gathering people and resources to enact them
With the Third Sunday of Lent we begin to turn toward Holy Week and Easter anticipating the activities of that time. We start signing up for things, and over the remaining weeks describe the events and what they mean. We first look at the Reflective Dinners in Holy Week
The First Week of Lent was wild with Shrove Tuesday, Ash Wednesday and an Episcopal Visitation last Sunday. This week we catch our breath before preparing in earnest for the Great Feast of Easter. For our liturgy during this time we get to enjoy some of the Classic Texts of the Anglican Tradition.
