May 17, The Seventh Sunday of Easter

The Seventh Sunday of Easter falls between the Feast of the Ascension (Thursday before Easter 7) and the Feast of Pentecost. Ascension marks the end of the Resurrection Appearances. The Risen Christ moves from outside ourselves to deep inside each one of us. The Risen Christ is no longer limited by the constraints of space and time but is now present to all disciples in all times and in all places. We await the descent of the Holy Spirit that will empower us to tell the whole world that Christ is Risen.

May 10, The Sixth Sunday of Easter

COA takes a look at its participation in this process through their activities of Outreach.

April 26, The Fourth Sunday of Easter

The Fourth Sunday of Easter is called "Good Shepherd Sunday," because the Gospel is from St. John's 10th Chapter about Jesus who says, "I am the Good Shepherd." On this Sunday we celebrate the program by which we seek to accomplish one of the major goals of our parish: We will successfully pass on the faith to our children so that they will remain and participate in the Christian community for the whole of their life. We will support them in their journey to adulthood so that one day we all may stand together as adults and friends, a joy and comfort to one another all the days of our lives.
