Hillsides Toy Drive for Christmas Mission Giving
The Hillsides Christmas Toy Drive began on the First Sunday of Advent, December 1. This is one of our regular Mission Giving activities. This year, Hillsides has given us a list of generic, normal, regular, whatever word you like, toys so that you don’t have to be an engineer from MIT or spend all your time watching MTV to figure out what the gifts are. The Christmas tree and gift list will go up on the Sunday. We collect the toys at the Children’s Christmas Eve Service.
Annual Giving for 2014 underway
With All Saints we begin our Annual Giving Pledge drive for 2014. We ask parishioners and friends to make a pledge to support the parish financially for the year to come. Annual Giving Pledges fund the operation of the Parish. With a parish this size it is imperative that everyone participate. Everyone’s gift matters. Please return your pledge cards as soon as you can.
Take God for your Spouse and Friend and walk with him continually and you will not sin, you will learn how to love, and the things you must do will work out prosperously for you.

Altar Flowers 2014
The sign up sheet for giving Altar Flowers during 2014 will be on the table outside Church this Sunday. Feel free to sign up and write in the memorial or thanksgiving you wish to acknowledge.
Christmas Decorations for 2013
There will be a sign up for people to make donations to the Christmas decorations as memorial or thank offerings. The signup will be a poster which will have pictures of the decorations: wreaths, window arrangements, garlands, poinsettias, and the altar flowers. We’ll post the price of each item. You may donate for the whole of one item, say a window arrangement, or for a part. We’ll list the donations in the Christmas bulletins The poster will be out this coming Sunday.
Emmaus Road Mondays 7:00 p.m.
Emmaus Road begins its annual reflections for Advent. We will be reading articles from the Advent/Christmas anthology Watch for the Light. The readings are short but very poignant and a good way to enter into and observe the Advent season. The readings for this coming Monday will be on the table outside Church on Sunday.
