Sunday Services
You don’t need to be a member of the parish to be married here, but our weddings are intimate and personal, so we ask couples who are to be married at Church of the Angels to attend Sunday services regularly. Your being here on Sundays makes it possible for the Rector, Father Robert "Bob" Gaestel, to see that your planning process is going well and that your spiritual needs are being met.
Dwight and I looked for a place to join our lives not only in matrimony but in our spiritually as well. At Church of the Angels with the guidance of Father Bob by way of premarital discussions as well as attending services we were welcomed into the community and were given support and love.

Preparing for Your Wedding
You are required to participate in four pre-marital counseling sessions with Father Bob before your wedding day. These sessions explore in depth the vows you will take and provide a safe and loving place to discuss the complexities of marriage.
Father Bob has been so wonderful to us. I remember his many kindnesses. He really helped make our wedding special. He gave such a thoughtful and insightful pre-marital counseling. Some of the things he said to me are things that I still think about.

The Church of the Angels made our wedding dreams come true. Darren and I have been attending our stunning Church since 2010. Not only is it an exquisite and beautiful Church to get married in, all of the people involved with The Church of the Angels are simply amazing, and so welcoming. Fr. Bob Gaestel and our lovely Wedding Coordinator, Rebecca Woods provided all of the love and support that we needed in the months leading up to our wedding and most importantly, on our Wedding Day. It was the most magical and special day of our lives, and one that we will never forget!
